Game development workshops for beginners in Godot 4 or GDevelop5.  


Drop in and work on your game with support from our friendly Lab techs and others in the group. No prior coding experience is necessary. <p>Spaces are limited so please book to confirm your place. If you are no longer able to attend please cancel your booking to allow another person to attend.</p>

Learn to code at Hucclecote Library. Take your first steps into coding as you explore the world of coding languages all at your own pace, with the support of our friendly volunteers. Progress through step-by-step projects & create games and animations using programs like Scratch. 

Suitable for children aged 7 - 14 years.

 

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please only book a space for the number of children wanting to take part.

If you suddenly can't make it, please cancel your space so another child can attend as there is limited availability.

Join our volunteer leaders  to learn Web or Python programming languages.  Children may choose one or other depending on their interests.  The Web languages will be HTML and CSS with lots of projects to build different types of web pages.  The python modules will introduce all the concepts of this powerful language using lots of fun coding example projects.

Suitable for children aged 11-14 (or younger if they are proficient Scratch coders).

These sessions are free. Booking is essential as spaces are limited.

We aim to offer information and support to help you use technology and access digital services. However, our staff or volunteers cannot complete forms or other tasks on your behalf.
