Join us for fun and friendly science play led by our experienced lab tech, Seth.

As a guide, these sessions are suitable for ages 5 - 10, but we appreciate that children develop at their own pace.

A parent or guardian over the age of 16 must stay with the child throughout the session.

Please note, spaces are limited so please book to confirm your place.

Come and explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths in these super fun interactive workshops for 8 – 12 year olds. We cover a huge range of science-y topics through hands on creating and experimenting. Why do planes fly? How long would it take a cat to fall from a plane, and will it be okay? What even ARE bubbles and how can we make them better? Can I turn my sister into a drum kit? If you have a question, even better! Bring it along and we will figure out the answers, together.

It's free to attend, but if you would like to support us look for the donation boxes at our events. Your donation goes towards more fun, free, and educational events in the future.

You are encouraged to enjoy the fun with your child. Adults do not need to book a ticket.

Bring your imagination, we provide the bricks! Join us between 10.00 - 12.00 to create something with Lego. In partnership with The Bingham Trust.

Fun songs and nursery rhymes for 0 to 4 year olds.

Every Tuesday 10.15 to 10.45.

Limited to 20 places - please book in the library with staff, or phone 01242-863010.    

A weekly group for babies and their grown-ups, where we sing a selection of traditional and newer songs/rhymes. You are encouraged to join in when you feel comfortable. The main aim of the group is for you to have fun! 

This session is for children under 12 months. 

Free to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult but please only book a space for the child attending.

Bring your little ones along for an informal and fun session of singing and shaking those maracas!

Suitable for babies and pre-schoolers and their carers.

Booking is essential. Please only book for adults, babies aren't required to book.
