A lively and informative session for mature drivers and their families with tips on how to drive safely for longer, and how to plan for when it is time to retire from driving. This is led by members of the Older Drivers Forum. www.olderdriversforum.com      

The event will provide advice for older drivers and their families concerning:

- How to assess and refresh driving abilities

- Checks to be made to ensure the preparedness and suitability of vehicles

- Safe journey planning

- How to plan for when it comes time to retire from driving

The event will take the form of a 40-minute presentation, followed by questions and answers. Attendees will receive a free information pack.

Ever wondered how audiobooks are created?  Perhaps you are interested in recording yourself reading your favourite book?  If you are, this Lab taster session just might be for you.  During the taster, our Lab Tech will demonstrate how to use the audio recording equipment to record a short section of a book, how to layer in music and sound effects, and output the finished product.

You are more welcome to bring along a book with you if you would like to record a paragraph of your choosing.

Please note, spaces are limited so please book to confirm your place. 

Only book for the number of adults attending. 

Suitable for people aged 16 upwards

If you are no longer able to attend please cancel your booking so that someone on the waiting list can enjoy the event.
