Calling all LEGO fanatics!  LEGO Technicians is a new club at the Cheltenham Lab which focuses on multi-week themed builds and challenges to enhance your building skills.  You will get to know other LEGO fans and also have the opportunity to enhance your digital skills by photographing your creations and using the likes of Adobe Photoshop and Premier Pro to bring them to life!  Booking is essential as spaces are limited.  Any questions, please e-mail joel.hawkins@gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Suitable for ages 9-14 years

PAY WHAT YOU CHOOSE: Choose how much you pay for your tickets based on what’s right for you (from £0 to £10) and enjoy the event. If you would like to donate after the event, then please use the donation boxes and contribute any amount you can. All additional proceeds will go towards providing other free events, projects and services at Gloucestershire Libraries.

Please note, all sales for paid events are final. This includes ‘pay what you choose’. Refunds are only given in limited circumstances:

If the event has been rescheduled, postponed, or moved, you can request a refund by cancelling your place online and emailing libraries.development@gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Library Littles offers a magical space for early years children (aged 0-5 years) and their guardians to delight in reading, sensory play, and song. 
Designed to support early language development and pre-literacy skills, Library Littles focuses on a relaxed ‘learning through play’ approach, fostering opportunities for children to express themselves creatively and imaginatively.

What to Expect:   
Interactive storytelling and songs with our Library Assistants  
A range of toys and equipment for your child to explore and interact with  
Exciting themes such as ‘Under the Sea’, ‘Out in Space’ and ‘Jungle Safari’  
It’s FREE to attend. 

Children must be accompanied by an adult but please only book a space for the child attending. Spaces are limited: Please cancel your booking if you can’t attend.

Learn to code at Hucclecote Library. Take your first steps into coding as you explore the world of coding languages all at your own pace, with the support of our friendly volunteers. Progress through step-by-step projects & create games and animations using programs like Scratch. 

Suitable for children aged 7 - 14 years.

 

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please only book a space for the number of children wanting to take part.

If you suddenly can't make it, please cancel your space so another child can attend as there is limited availability.

Join author Andy Seed and a whole host of rare and amazing creatures from around the world as Andy shares his new book Interview with a Panda and Other Endangered Animals Too. We’ll meet chameleons, flying foxes, rhinos, rare crocodiles and a strange parrot that can’t fly among others, and learn why these special animals need our help. A mix of fun and facts for ages 5-11. 

If you are no longer able to attend please cancel your booking so that someone on the waiting list can have your space.

You can choose to take your creation home to brighten up your windows or add it to our library display for everyone to enjoy.
