Coleford Library - Forest Writers: Networks & Connections

11 Sep 2024 - 7:00 PM to 8:30 PMColeford (CO)
Event

Talk, discussion, pictures and sounds: “Forest Writers: networks & connections” with the Forest of Dean Writers Collection team.

Some of our favourite Forest writers moved away from the Forest, yet they remained connected to the place and people that meant so much to them – and continued to write about it. This lively talk and discussion draw on findings emerging from the new Forest of Dean Writers Collection at the Dean Heritage Centre. It will explore how Forest of Dean literary networks and connections saw familiarity with the Forest spread around the world through the work of its writers and poets.

Spaces for this event are limited to please book in advance.
