A social activity for people who would otherwise struggle to access library services themselves.  Staff and volunteers will be on hand to help people to choose reading/listening materials or use a library computer.  

We hold the group on the last Friday of every month at 10.30am.  Refreshments are provided and everyone is welcome.

Transport is also provided if needed, but does need to be booked in advance. Please contact the library for more information.

A weekly group for babies/pre-school children and their grown-ups, where we sing a selection of traditional and newer songs/rhymes. You are encouraged to join in when you feel comfortable. The main aim of the group is for you to have fun! 

Free to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult but please only book a space for the amount of children wishing to attend.

Poetry Café is back! 

1pm-2pm The last Friday of every month.

 We will be welcoming a guest poet to perform their work.

You can share your favourite poem or read one of your own.

This event is free and  no booking is required.

A chance for people to get together with fellow crafters for a session where you can bring along your current make and share ideas - Or simply enjoy talking with others over a cup of tea.

It is a relaxing way of making new friends. Poetry inspired conversations about life in general.
