Tuffley Library - Reminiscence Tea Party

Tuffley Library - Reminiscence Tea Party

Come and join us for a series of Tea Party’s across the county for Dementia Action Week. Whilst enjoying some scrumptious tea and cake, reminisce and talk about your favourite memories in this relaxed session with health and wellbeing facilitator Ally Goff. You’re also encouraged to draw or write on our repurposed tablecloth, capturing a snapshot of your precious moments and memories you choose to share. You can also take part in a fun craft activity where you can create a felt forget-me-not broach (the emblem of Dementia UK) to take away.

This session is dementia friendly and is open to all ages.

Gloucestershire Libraries are committed to creating an inclusive community and are working towards a place where everyone feels welcome, safe and valued for who they are. Our events are for everyone: We welcome you whatever your socio-economic background, ability, gender, gender identity, race, ethnicity, age, religious beliefs or sexual orientation. If you have any access requirements or if you need further information about the event, please contact libraries.development@gloucestershire.gov.uk ahead of the session.
