Coleford Lab - Jewellery Making Workshop

Event

Have a go at making your own customised jewellery using our state of the art equipment including laser cutters and 3D printers. Use materials like wood to cut out letters and shapes or etch into stone, before making earrings, bracelets and necklaces. No technical experience is needed but a steady pair of hands is recommended. You will have an expert Lab Technician on hand to help.

All materials and equipment required will be provided but please feel free to bring your own too.

From recording a podcast to building a robot, this is a creative space where we explore ideas from the ground up, and find practical and inventive solutions to problems along the way.

 

If you're a complete beginner, we'll help you get started. If you already have some experience, then we'll give you the tools to progress further. Let's make something!

Calling all LEGO fanatics!  LEGO Technicians is a club at the Cheltenham Lab which focuses on multi-week themed builds and challenges to enhance your building skills.  You will get to know other LEGO fans and if you are interested, have the opportunity to enhance your digital skills by photographing your creations and using the likes of Adobe Photoshop and Premier Pro to bring them to life!  Booking is essential as spaces are limited.  Any questions, please e-mail joel.hawkins@gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Please be aware that this club is for 9 to 14 year olds.
