We’re thrilled to welcome Berlin-based, award-winning author Fatma Aydemir to Gloucestershire Libraries, in association with Peirene Press. Best known for her novel Ellbogen (Elbow), her books will appeal to fans of Bernadine Evaristo and Zadie Smith. Come along for insights into her writing process, a lively Q&A as well as excerpts from her new book, Djinns.

Join passionate naturalist Chantal Lyons to discuss her novel, Groundbreakers: The Return of Britain’s Wild Boar, which was shortlisted for the 2024 Wainwright Prize for Conservation. Chantal will discuss her writing process, share insights into her research, and read excerpts from her deeply researched work. The evening will also include a Q&A session.
