'Trouble in Texas' is the story of Bob Knightland who has broken with his father and gone to work for Victor Cordon's syndicate. The objective is to round up cattle from the Big Thicket to make a major drive to market. Everybody in the Big Thicket stands to benefit, or would if the syndicate is honorable in its intentions. Knightland comes to question the syndicate's operations, putting himself in danger. In 'Lawless Land', young lawyer Lee Banner is confronted by a dilemma. Jahzini, an old Navajo, who had taken the orphaned Lee into his hogan, now stands charged with murder. Lee's uncle, Henry Dodge will be the prosecuting attorney and would consider it betrayal should his nephew seek to defend Jahzini.
