A Forgotten Landscape, tis immense floodplain has been shaped over millennia, first by the Severn's extraordinary tides and then by human activity. Adapting to its geology and rich natural resources, generations have lived their lives in this ever-changing landscape. Their stories, from the Iron Age to the Nuclear Age, have been explored, collected and brought together by the Tales of the Vale Volunteers.
